Strawberry in Syrup Tutorial
This recipe is very easy to make. I use this for my
Strawberry Cake Recipe when I have fresh strawberries. Keep in mind not to use all the liquids from the strawberries or your cake will not bake properly. You can use this over pancakes, crepes, ice creams and more.
If you want to make it a jam, just cook it until it reaches between212 or 220 degrees.
1 Pound of Strawberries
1 cup of sugar
* Add the sugar to the strawberries
* Let the sugar bring the juice out of the strawberries. I prefer overnight.
* Simmer in medium heat for 2 minutes to make sure the sugar is dissolved.
