You will love this super easy and delicious Condensed Milk Buttercream Recipe. I posted the tutorial below with

some tips just in case you over mix it and it gets too difficult to work with. It's an easy fix.
It pipes beautifully and tastes delicious. It does requires

to be refrigerated but it can stay a couple of hours outside the fridge in a room with air conditioner. Great recipe for those fast easy home made style cakes.

The recipe and tutorial are posted below. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks room temperature) butter
4 ounces of vegetable shortening

1 14 oz can of Condensed Milk (COLD)

1 tsp of Vanilla Extract

Directions:

Cream room temperature butter and vegetable shortening until well mixed.

Add the cold condensed milk and vanilla extract (or favorite extract). Mix in medium speed until gets creamy. Do not over mix or it will get too many air pockets and it will be dry and not easy to spread over the cake.

*If you over mix it, check the video tutorial above to learn how to fix it.

*This is a non crusting buttercream but you can smooth it well if you place it in the fridge until the buttercream hardens up and smooth it with a hot scrapper.

*Since it contains condensed milk, it's suggested for the cake to be placed in the fridge. It will stay well outside the fridge for a couple of hours in a room with AC.
