Stabilized Whipped Cream Recipe
This is not a recipe but a product that I use for cakes that I don't refrigerate. Bettercream is a non dairy whipped cream that can be used to ice a cake or just as a filling. It holds well outside the fridge for up to 5 days and in the fridge for up to 7 days.
You might have to search where in your area this product is sold or find one that works in the same way. You might find it in Costco, Sam's or some Walmart's in the USA.
I know of another one called Pastry Pride but I've never used it. Some people tell me it works just as well.
In this video I added some of my Strawberry Jam to create a strawberry mousse to fill a cake.
If you prefer using real Stabilized Whipped Cream, you can check my video for it. Just keep in mind that heavy cream needs to be refrigerated at all times.
